In the first half of this week, we had originally planned to have a list of materials to order and prepare for building an electrical system to ensure functionality. However, after some feedback from our client as well as Dr. Holmes, we took a moment to reset and revisit gaps in our research and go through with a more thorough brainstorming process. On another note, Ben and I are really excited to work with Chif and Abubakr in-person, likely next Thursday!

In the beginning of this week, Mina and I were able to set up an Arduino system to turn the haptics on and off. Throughout the week, it seemed less and less likely that we would be able to acquire the component we needed. Knowing this, the next step would be to look into ways to adjust the strength of haptics. We had received a senior capstone design team’s approach to a haptic helmet device, and we are interested to see how they assembled the prototype together.
