I am a rising sophomore at McMurtry College and am double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Spanish--Mech because I would like to work in engineering design and Spanish because I enjoy learning a new language and culture. I am planning to study abroad in Madrid during my junior year to continue improving my ability to speak Spanish. I am a member of the Rice Women's Club Volleyball team and will be the captain/president next year. I am also one of the Food Reps for McMurtry college, for which I act as a liaison between the McMurtry students and government and the West Servery chef. This summer I will be interning with the SEED engineering design program at the OEDK.
