Week 2: A short circuit

Week 2 has really flown by.

This week was filled with iterations our temperature testing set up for my smaller project focused on making a solution to combat neonatal hypothermia in low resource areas. Arduinos were foreign to me and initially understanding how to set the circuits up was daunting but I can safely say I do not mind working on them now! Our temperature sensor was giving us numerous problems because of a wrong set up which took us time to properly correct. At last it is working and we are currently on the road to wrap up testing which is exciting.

Following from last week’s workshop, I managed to work more on my CAD skills and managed to work on a fish-tank this afternoon.

I am looking forward to this long weekend ahead, it will involve a lot of rest and charging up to meet the international interns arriving early next week which is super exciting!
