Hi everyone,

We are very excited to finally have the blog site up and ready for you!

Here are the steps to blogging:

• Go to https://seed.blogs.rice.edu/
• Click LOG IN, near the bottom right corner – use your netID and password to login
• Under DASHBOARD, look for the menu on the left side of the page go to USERS
• Select YOUR PROFILE and scroll down to add your display name & biographical info. This is necessary because otherwise, your author name will only appear as your netID! Please see an example BIO below:

I’m a premed student and rising junior at Baker College. I’m studying Health Sciences, Biochemistry, and Global Health Technologies at Rice, and my clinical interests include pediatrics, infectious diseases, and global health. This summer, I’ll be interning with the Beyond Traditional Borders program at St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Namitete, Malawi. • Then Select YOUR AVATAR to add a small picture of yourself that will appear next to your user.
• Click on MY SITES at the top left corner and choose OEDK SEED STUDENT BLOGS
• In the side menu go to POSTS > ADD NEW
• START blogging!

IMPORTANT – Please make sure to check “USA” or “Brazil” in the categories, to make sure your blog posts to the correct country! Keep “All Posts” checked as well.
