Hey there, it’s Boluwatifenisolae! 

I’m thrilled to share the amazing progress we made last week – we went from having nothing to creating a fantastic low-fidelity prototype that received incredible reviews and feedback. I want to give a big shoutout to my awesome teammates and myself because even though the week was short due to the Independence Day holiday, we hit the ground running. We met on Monday, screened our brainstormed solutions, and by the end of the holiday, we had already identified the materials we needed and placed orders.

While waiting for our ordered items, we made use of the materials available at the OEDK. It was incredible to see our low-fidelity prototype come to life using plastic scraps, foam, play doh, and other fun things (check out the picture!). 

We dedicated our time on Wednesday and Thursday to this exciting hands-on work. We even created a storyboard to further enhance our vision (check out the picture!).

On Friday, we had the prototype review session, and the feedback we received was good. It will help us shape our next prototype – the mid-fidelity version.

Time is flying by so quickly, and sometimes it feels like a challenge to keep up with everything, but overall, this whole experience has been pretty exciting! I can’t wait to share more updates with you in my next post!
