The end of bootcamp! crammed a semester’s with of engineering design principles and procedures into 5 days and today was the conclusion of it. We walked through all the steps and this crash course a good refresher for the Rice University students, such a myself, and also a good intro for the international students who may not have been familiar with the method we are advised to use in tackling engineering design challenges.
We also presented our hog feeder zoo project to the SEED cohort today.

Our teams were announced!!! I’m on Team iWound, formerly known as Wounder Woman.
Choosing such a fantastic team name is no easy feat, we had to let
client interviews and delving into research. Because this was previously a Senior Design project, there was a lot of documentation to read and analyze.

We also had our second SEED lunch today!!! Last Wednesday we had some of the OEDK staff join us as guests. Unfortunately, we did not have any guests this week but it was still a great opportunity to

This week went by impossibly fast. I woke up this morning in shock that Thursday was already here and that week two of the Summer Experience in Engineering Design Internship would be over at the close of tomorrow’s day.
This weekend, I am looking forward to meeting up with my friends to celebrate one of their birthdays!
